Security Officer

We are looking to hire a full-time security officer in Schenectady, NY. The position is Tuesday through Saturday from 1500-2300 (3:00pm-11:00pm) for a total of 40 hours a week, with a pay rate of $18.00 an hour. We are looking for a reliable and proactive security officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises and residents. This role involves providing excellent customer service, monitoring security systems, and addressing security concerns promptly.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular walking patrols to ensure safety and identify any unusual activity.
• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment.
• Complete clear and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and site staff.
• Follow established protocols and contact emergency services when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with basic technology, including CCTV and reporting tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to stay calm and respond appropriately in emergencies.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
