Must be able to lift 50lbs.Position: Data Center Logistics Specialist II Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm Pay: $31.10/hourIn addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:-A minimum of 1+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.-The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.-A minimum of 6 month's experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Order Picker and Reach Truck and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Sit-down, Stand up reach truck, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.Be part of the world's largest logistics company! Role is responsible for execution and prioritization of daily operational activities, completion of tasks within SLA and quality standards, and maintenance of high productivity while balancing accuracy and safety.Key Accountabilities:Be able to complete the role and responsibility of a Data Center SpecialistAdjust workflows and priorities to meet operational demandsCommunicate and delegate workload changes within scope of responsibility to hit tasks within SLA and quality standardsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies within defined thresholdsEnsure proper tracking, labeling, and chain of custody of inventoryIdentify and enforce adherence to established SOPs, safety protocols, and handling guidelinesSupport audit readiness and corrective actionsCommunicate risks to SLA performance early and clearlyAssist with identifying root causes of errors, delays, or process breakdownsTake immediate corrective actions within authorityUse escalation pathways appropriately for complex issuesProvide timely, accurate updates to stakeholdersSupport seamless workflow handoffsSupport implementation of new workflows, tools, or layoutsShare and communicate best practices across shifts or teamsIdentify and escalate safety risks or hazards immediatelyParticipate in safety initiatives and reportingDemonstrate reliability and consistency in performanceRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent, required.Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishPrevious experience in a data center desirableAbility to utilize computerOur organization is an equal opportunity employer
