Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)??s high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity 36-bed ED environment. This role involves rapid patient assessment, stabilization, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions.
• Triage patients utilizing evidence-based protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and provider orders.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, emergency medical services, and other team members.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately within the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the State of Oklahoma or a valid compact license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; TNCC and ENPC are preferred.
• Proven experience in emergency nursing, critical care, or high-acuity environments.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and focus during high-stress, high-volume situations.
