Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles. Prior supervisory experience is not required. Additional Information Critical care experience is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe working practices.
