Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, adapt quickly to unit needs, and demonstrate excellent teamwork. This position offers flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and execute treatments effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Float to similar units within scope as needed, providing support and maintaining quality standards.
• Complete required modules during orientation and ensure timely compliance with Lab and credentialing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER nursing experience preferred.
• Be willing to work night shifts (3x12 hours) with the ability to adapt to schedule variations.
• Demonstrate current license, pending NM/Compact license accepted, prior to start date.
• Have reliable transportation within a 50-mile radius (local applicants not accepted).
• Be able to pass travel compliance requirements, including fingerprints and background checks.
