Burlington, VT, US Position Type: Limited Service Schedule Type: Full Time Minimum Salary: $23.28 Maximum Salary: $36.16 Overview As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and safety of our facilities. You'll perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a wide range of HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, heat pumps, and more. It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs. Level III: 53439 Level IV: 53455 Level V: 53456 Special Requirements Work may require entering confined spaces, removing snow on runways, and exposure to loud noises. Heavy equipment operation; possession of a Commercial Driver's License may be required. Ability to climb ladders and lift equipment and materials weighing as much as fifty pounds. Work performed in all kinds of weather; some outside of normal working hours may be required. Travel and overnight stay may be included. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more in Construction or Facilities Maintenance. OR one (1) or more years of Military Maintenance Specialist II. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must possess CDL license or complete State approved HVAC course. Preferred Qualifications Five (5) or more years of work experience in building construction or maintenance. Building Trades/Vocational Education. Previous experience working on a military installation. Knowledge of Building Automation Systems. Locksmith knowledge.
