Responsibilities Under supervision, assist attorneys with the litigation process. Reviews the work of paralegals and clerks. Prepares all documents related to the litigation process to include drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc. Screens documents for privilege. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Location Position may be located in either Central Islip or Brooklyn, NY. Requirements Law degree or currently a student at an ABA‑accredited law school with at least one year completed. Experience conducting legal research using various research tools and law library resources. Excellent communication skills—oral and written, including legal writing skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, including databases. Ability to work in a team environment, deliver the highest quality of work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7‑ or 10‑year minimum background investigation.
