What You’ll Be Doing:

· Engaging with clients and other staff to ensure proactive tax planning.

· Preparing and reviewing business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.

· Overseeing income tax correspondence, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

· Providing ongoing training for staff to promote efficient preparation of tax returns and develop tax expertise.

· Diving deep into technical tax-related issues in order to guide clients.

· Gaining exposure to foreign taxation, sales/use tax, and payroll tax.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Progressive experience working in the tax department of a CPA firm
• CPA designation or EA designation required, or actively pursuing; MST also a plus 
• Strong background in preparation of individual and business returns
• Experience in reviewing returns
• Skilled in performing tax research using various resources
