Relationship Banker I

Relationship Banker I First United Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker who will act as the primary point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong relationships while providing personalized service, meeting performance goals and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of all bank products, services, procedures and regulatory issues. Process daily customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Develop and retain existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities. Serve customers’ single point of contact on all products and services. Meet or exceed performance goals and actively participate in sales campaigns. Participate in all meetings, bank functions and community events as requested. Provide excellent customer service, including greeting, personalizing, building rapport and handling complaints. Identify and match customer needs with appropriate products and services. Open new accounts, certificates of deposit and ancillary products and ensure proper paperwork is completed. Assist customers with routine inquiries such as balance, statements, payments, online banking and other services. Process a variety of transactions, conduct cash drawer duties, vault duties and ensure compliance with policies. Resolve customer complaints, review exception reports and assist with charge‑off repayment plans. Perform security functions including opening/closing bank and vault, ensuring safety and security. Qualifications High school diploma (strongly preferred). Some college (strongly preferred). At least one year of retail experience (preferred). Cash handling experience (preferred). Superior customer service skills. Basic mathematics proficiency. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Time‑management skills and ability to work independently. Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to multitask and maintain a professional appearance.
