Our client is currently seeking a Team Leader
Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Davenport, IA
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Inspectors to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Manage Quality Management Services activities, including:
  • Tool calibration programs
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) laboratory operations
  • Non-conforming material and process management
• Provide daily support to the production floor, dedicating approximately 70% of time to shop floor activities and 30% to office-based responsibilities.
• Foster continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance.

• This position is primarily aligned with 1st shift; however, flexibility is required based on business needs.
• Final shift hours will be determined between the selected candidate and the hiring manager.
• Candidates must be willing to work off-shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as required.
• Metatarsal safety footwear is required from day one.

• Strong supervisory or leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proven knowledge of quality systems, processes, and quality fundamentals.
• Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) strongly preferred, along with 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates without a four-year degree may still be considered if they possess substantial and demonstrated supervisory experience in a relevant manufacturing setting.
