Your Role as a Behavior Technician

As a Behavior Technician at Owen Health Care in Springfield, NJ, you will play a vital role in assisting behavioral therapists in creating effective therapy programs for children and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include implementing behavioral interventions in home and community settings, tailoring service plans to meet each child's unique needs, and managing youth with behavioral challenges. By maintaining a safe environment, monitoring behavior, and organizing engaging activities, you will contribute to the well-being and development of the youth under your care. Your dedication to positive behavioral guidance will make a meaningful difference in their lives. Owen Health Care Inc. also offers the 40 hour RBT online training course as part of our training program for Behavior Technicians.

You will work under the supervision of a BCBA. Successful BT's are adaptable in navigating different situations and adjusting strategies to best support children with behavioral challenges.
