What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business with construction companies, event organizers, municipalities, and commercial customers.
- Build lasting customer relationships through regular site visits, follow-up, and account management.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with operations to ensure outstanding customer service.
- Manage your sales territory while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Previous outside or business-to-business sales experience required.
- Waste management, environmental services, or construction industry experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple accounts and priorities.
- Drive extensively throughout an assigned sales territory.
- Walk construction sites, job sites, and outdoor event locations over uneven terrain.
- Occasionally lift marketing materials or product samples (up to 50 pounds).
