Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others and aware of the principles of ALARA. Assist physicians in performing procedures.QualificationsMust have one of the following:Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiation Therapy and attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)ORSuccessful completion of an accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and attainment of primary certification from the ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT.ORThe Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)Registration with the ARRT, ARMRIT or CAMRT and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hiredPay RangeUSD $42.84 - USD $64.28 /Hr.Rotation Schedule RequirementEvery 3rd weekend with rotating holidays
