Job Function Supply Chain Manufacturing Job Sub Function Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance Job Category Professional Location Warsaw, Indiana, United States of America Compensation Hourly rate: $44.67/hr Job Summary Perform maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry components of manufacturing and processing equipment. Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including cutting, welding and fabrication of parts. Maintain auxiliary equipment, buildings, grounds, and operating vehicles. Operate forklifts and company vehicles as needed. Record maintenance activities and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings. Duties & Responsibilities Move material and perform material handling duties. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic housekeeping and 6S activities. Apply processes, criteria and procedures to all work. Follow health, safety and environmental rules, policies and procedures. Communicate operational issues and opportunities to management. Assist with staff supervision when required. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with mechanical equipment, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, construction. Knowledge of PLCs, equipment maintenance standards, and maintenance software. Four-year accredited apprenticeship or eight+ years of diversified industrial maintenance experience preferred. Ability to read and apply mechanical drawings, specifications, codes and safety practices. Must hold forklift operator accreditation.
