The Residential Assistant Administrator will develop and maintain program structure and guidelines, monitor all aspects of the program operations and resident support services for stabilizing individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, assist the Residential Administrator with daily oversight and coordination of on‑site and off‑site visits and appointments, provide treatment services, maintain an active presence, and communicate building and operational needs. Vocational Training Program Applicants starting as a QMHA‑R may enter an optional program that accelerates training and testing preparation to obtain QMHA‑I certification. Certification can be achieved in as little as six months. Work Schedule Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Full Time, Day). This position requires on‑call availability based on program need. What You’ll Make $5,000 – $6,000 per month DOE/Credentials. Additional 5 % language differential offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates. About the Program McKenzie Ridge is a secure, co‑ed, 8‑bed program serving adults with mental illness, located on the grounds of the Junction City Hospital. What You’ll Need Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. Eligibility requires one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field). Minimum three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting. Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training. Experience supervising union‑represented employees is preferred. If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist with registration within the first week of employment. Driving is an essential function. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. May require occasional ladder use, kneeling, and other tasks. Must complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR training.
