General Assembly TechnicianSchedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPosition Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented General Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in San Diego. This position is responsible for assembling components, following established procedures, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality results.Key Responsibilities:Perform basic assembly and manufacturing tasks following written and verbal instructionsAssemble components while maintaining quality and accuracy standardsUtilize hand tools and light power tools safely and effectivelyFollow technical documents, procedures, and work instructionsCollaborate with team members to meet production goalsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualifications:Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to read and follow written procedures and technical documentationComfortable using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliersExperience with light-duty power tools, including electric drills, preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is a plusBasic computer skills and ability to navigate PDF documentsStrong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a teamRequired Skills:Read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to follow written work instructions and manualsComfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks with accuracyTeam-oriented mindset and willingness to assist in other areas as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to use hand tools and power tools throughout the shiftAbility to stand for extended periods while performing assembly work
