Respiratory Therapist – Terra Alta, WV (Hospital Setting) Location: Terra Alta, West Virginia Job Type: Contract Duration: Long-Term Contract (Up to 3 Years) Payrate: $40- 42/hr. on W2 Job Summary We are currently seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide cardiopulmonary care services for patients experiencing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions in a hospital setting. The Respiratory Therapist will administer respiratory treatments, perform diagnostic testing, manage respiratory equipment, and document patient care in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Provide cardiopulmonary care and life support services Monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust treatments as required Operate ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and airway management equipment Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing Provide emergency respiratory support when required Document treatments and patient observations in the EMR system Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies Minimum Qualifications Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a COARC accredited program Current West Virginia Respiratory Therapist License Licensed by the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care Required Certifications Candidates must have the following certifications: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting Skills Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and cardiopulmonary care Experience operating ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment Strong patient monitoring and assessment skills Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Application Requirements Interested candidates must submit: Updated Resume Proof of Respiratory Therapy Degree West Virginia Respiratory Therapist License CPR, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $40 - $42 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
