The ideal Research Technician candidate would have experience with fundamental cellular and molecular biology techniques, as well as experience working with research animals. Responsibilities Small animal handling and in vivo studies. Laboratory organization and purchasing. Experiments related to cellular and molecular biology. Data collection, analysis, and maintenance of records. General laboratory maintenance. Research project assistance. Qualifications High school diploma A bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.S., B.A.) in Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Biochemistry, or related fields. Experience related to handling laboratory equipment is preferred. Experience related to handling laboratory equipment. Experience with molecular biological techniques such as Electrophoresis, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), etc., is preferred Experience working with basic science laboratory equipment and with laboratory research animals and cell culture is preferred. Strong work ethic and an interest in developing independent research projects are preferred.
