Make a difference in students’ lives by working as a School Psychologist on a contract basis near Bryant, Arkansas. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
- Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and parents
- Understanding of special education laws, procedures, and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred by education teams
- Develop and interpret Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide necessary recommendations
- Deliver counseling services and intervention strategies to assist student emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving meetings
- Support school-wide initiatives for mental health, student safety, and positive behavior
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
