Must-Have:

• Acute care experience
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, and protective services processes
• Ability to float between like units based on need

Description: The winter bill rate increase will be effective from October 4, 2026, through February 27, 2027. After February 27, 2027, the bill rate will automatically return to the standard rate. Cancellations due to the rate change after signature will result in a system-wide DNR (Do Not Return). Travelers will need to work every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted as a SCREEN with clinical approval. Call is not required for this position. Local candidates are accepted. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Clinical staff must be current within the last year in hospital case management. Floating to meet departmental needs is required. Candidates may be expected to float between other facilities nearby. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Interdisciplinary support is provided by social services. The assignment requires experience in admission criteria, care coordination, discharge planning, and compliance with regulations. Travelers may be assisted in finding housing. This location is suitable for nature enthusiasts, with easy driving distance to various state and national parks. The community offers opportunities to enjoy both the ocean and hiking in nearby parks. Travelers should submit two references covering one year of experience within the last three years. All scheduling requests must be made upfront during submission. Failure to adhere to scheduling may lead to contract termination.
