Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 12 hours Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience License: Active Nursing License in New Hampshire Certifications: BLS, AWHONN, NRP Must-Have: Fetal Monitoring Experience Active certifications in BLS, AWHONN, and NRP at the time of submission Work History: Labor Delivery skills checklist within the past year Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment Permanent address included in the submission file Description: Must be proficient and experienced from patient check-in to pre/post care to discharge. Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems and needs. Establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. The unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including but not limited to:** Preterm labor High blood pressure Diabetes Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section Prenatal testing Amniocentesis Childbirth education classes
