Massage TherapistThe Massage Therapist will give personalized care to patients who are suffering from acute pain post-traumatic injury. The patients are prescribed massage therapy by the treating chiropractor and the successful Massage Therapist will build rapports with these patients and furthermore: improve their overall quality of life through effective treatment.Prepare the massage roomSanitize the massage room in between patients and at the end of a shiftCommunicate with patients, coworkers, and ordering ChiropractorDeliver personalized care to patients depending on their injuries and needsAssist the Team in any way possible during down timeArrive to work punctuallyUtilize UKG for time-keepingOther duties as assignedStamina to perform 50-minute massages for the entirety of a shiftCommunication skillsCustomer service skillsAttention to detailAdaptabilityHand-eye coordinationEducation and ExperienceActive Idaho Massage Therapy license requiredExperience working with musculoskeletal injuriesAt least two years of experience preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of activityPhysical strength and stamina to comfortably massage patients for 50 minutes at a timeAbility to massage for the entirety of a shiftPhysical/Mental RequirementsSitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
