divh2Position Overview/h2pAssists patients by determining need, determination of provider availability and scheduling appointments in Athena using best practice workflow./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliAbility to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate schedule./liliCollect patient demographics required to set up an appointment in scheduler./liliSchedules and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler. Records when appointments have been filled or canceled./liliAnswers telephone and either responds to the inquiry or directs caller to appropriate personnel./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Preferred Skills Experience/h3ulliExperience working in a high volume call center environment/liliGreat attention to detail and data entry accuracy/liliAbility to handle all calls in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner/liliExcellent and professional customer service skills/liliDemonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel/liliExperience level: 3+ years./li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliA standard business environment exists with moderate noise levels./liliAbility to lift and move approximately thirty (30) pounds on a non-routine basis./liliAbility to sit for extended periods of time./liliLong periods of computer usage/liliHandling seizing, holding, grasping and fingering of objects, tools and controls/liliVision close vision/liliHearing- ability to receive detailed information through oral and telephonic communication/li/ulpThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
