A Business Development Representative / Sales Development Representative / Business Development Manager is required for a technical sales opportunity focused on developing new business opportunities within the Critical Power sector. This role offers the chance to join an established industrial business and play a key part in identifying prospects, building relationships and creating new sales opportunities.

With team members earning over $300,000, this role offers strong earning potential for an experienced sales professional who can develop opportunities, engage with customers and work collaboratively with internal sales and technical teams.

The Business Development Representative / Sales Development Representative / Business Development Manager Role:

Generate new leads and opportunities within an assigned geographic area

Identify businesses with potential Critical Power requirements and develop new relationships

Engage with prospects to understand requirements and create qualified opportunities

Promote technical services including engineering, installation, maintenance and testing solutions

Record leads and opportunities accurately within CRM systems

Work closely with sales and technical teams to ensure opportunities are supported effectively

Meet with customers and prospects to communicate value and identify further opportunities

Business Development Representative / Sales Development Representative / Business Development Manager Requirements:

Experience in sales, business development or a similar customer-facing commercial role

Experience within Critical Power or a related technical industry is preferred

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills

Ability to identify opportunities and develop new customer relationships

Comfortable working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

Experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role
