Job Details Location: Amberwell Downtown - Atchison, KS 66002 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Periodic - As Needed Job Shift: 8 Hour Day Job Category: Management - Clinical Job Description The Clinical Nurse Manager is a key member of the Health at Home and Hospice team. The Clinical Nurse Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Health at Home. The Clinical Nurse Manager position will be responsible for daily operations for Health at Home and Hospice services in collaboration with the Director. Duties Able to work as a member of a team and also independently. Understand and follow safe work practices. Ensure that all Amberwell procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Oversee Quality Assurance activities for Health at Home and Hospice. Manage daily staffing and caseload assignments. Review all patient intakes for appropriate services under the Medicare/Medicaid Benefits. Lead and organize weekly IDG meetings including appropriate personnel. Coordinate annual staff competencies in collaboration with Manager of Education. Track and prepare Infection Control data as part of Condition of Participation for Medicare. Collaborate on new hire processes and facilitate onboarding and staff training. Assume the role of Administrator when the Director is not available. Qualifications Experience Minimum Required Experience: 2 years’ experience in home health or hospice setting. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in leadership or supervisory role in home health or hospice setting. Education Minimum Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Licenses Minimum Required Licenses: Active unencumbered RN license in Kansas. Certifications Minimum Required: Basic Life Support. Preferred Certifications: Certified Home Health Care Manager, OASIS, Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. #J-18808-Ljbffr
