This role involves leading a team of investigators and specialists, ensuring exceptional service to members, and aligning with Employers Council’s values. The Managing Attorney reports directly to the department Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in affirmative action/pay equity and investigations. Responsibilities include coordinating processes and templates, conducting intake/consultation calls, supervising investigators and specialists, and delivering training sessions. Location: 1290 Broadway St, Suite 1500, Denver, CO 80203 (Hybrid) Type: Full-time Exempt Salary Range: $113,400 - $133,900 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain processes and templates; conduct intake/consultation calls; supervise investigators and specialists; teach classes. Manage day-to-day performance of the Workplace Investigations and Pay Equity/Affirmative Action teams. Oversee investigation and plan processes, including assignments, report reviews, quality assurance, and workflow. Onboard/train staff; manage timesheets and billing; resolve billing issues. Collaborate with the Director to meet revenue goals. Manage sales efforts, conduct intake meetings, and oversee sales pipeline. Advise staff on urgent issues and coordinate services. Review reports and manage templates for investigation and pay equity documents. Draft and review pay equity analysis reports and correspondence. Deliver training on investigations and affirmative action. Engage in marketing efforts, including presentations and publications. Perform other duties as assigned. Work involves remote and in-office work, regular travel within Colorado, and occasional out-of-state travel. Qualifications/Education Juris Doctor and Bar admission required. Minimum 2 years experience in workplace investigations and employment law. Experience training investigators and reviewing reports preferred. Knowledge of pay equity laws and analysis required; experience with discrimination and affirmative action laws is a plus. Leadership experience preferred. Strong legal writing, analysis, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality. Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
