Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Union Health.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: Candidates within 50-100 miles may be accepted; candidates within 50 miles will not be accepted.

Unit Details: Staffing includes RNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries during the day.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts a month (days weekends are Sat/Sun, nights Fri/Sat). Holidays: 2 of 4.

Floating Requirements: Will float to Med-Surg or stepdown units within scope of practice when needed, including general surgical, stepdown trauma, Med-Surg overflow, and oncology.

14 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
