Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per week.

Requirements

• Years of experience: 1 year required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Skills: Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, and more
• EMR system: EPIC
• On-call required, including weekends
• Regular floating may be required between departments and facilities as needed
• Local candidates accepted
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiac procedures including catheterizations and stent placements
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Perform assessment and monitoring of patients in a cardiac care setting
• Maintain and manage IVs and central lines, including blood product administration
• Use various cardiac monitoring techniques and interpret dysrhythmias
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
