Job Title: Corporate Controller/Assistant Controller (Onsite) Location: Irving Texas Position: Type: Contract-to -Hire Qualifications and Requirements : 5+ years of P&C Insurance or underwriting experience BS and MS in Accounting Required CPA required. 5+ years in mid-level management leadership roles A demonstrated working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, well-developed financial analysis capabilities, and demonstrated ability to manage accounting operations and applications. Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver and reinforce consistent messages at all levels. Experience with group accounting and consolidations Familiarity with insurance reserving and ultimate loss estimation techniques (required) Familiarity with insurance regulatory compliance as it relates to Finance, especially risk adjusted solvency and liquidity requirements (required) Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Pivot, and Microsoft Suites; particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, ERP retrieve tools, etc.) NetSuite system experience required.
