Marketing, Communications and Outreach Coordinator

Marketing, Communications And Outreach Coordinator Mountain Laurel Medical Center (MLMC) is seeking a creative, organized, and community-focused Marketing, Communications and Outreach Coordinator to support our marketing, communications, community relations, and outreach efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Business & Community Development, this position creates engaging content, supports digital communications and marketing campaigns, coordinates community outreach activities, and helps tell the story of MLMC's services, programs, partnerships, and impact throughout the communities we serve. What You'll Do Create written and visual content for social media, websites, newsletters, advertisements, recruitment efforts, and other communications. Develop flyers, brochures, signage, digital graphics, presentations, and other marketing materials consistent with MLMC's brand. Manage social media content and maintain a proactive content calendar for programs, services, events, and organizational initiatives. Capture photographs and video for marketing, social media, and community engagement activities. Support marketing campaigns, website updates, advertising, print projects, and other communications initiatives. Coordinate community outreach activities, including fairs, festivals, school events, resource fairs, and partner events. Represent MLMC at community events and build positive relationships with community partners and the public. Coordinate event registrations, logistics, displays, promotional materials, and outreach supplies. Manage multiple marketing and outreach projects, deadlines, and departmental requests. Monitor social media, website, campaign, and outreach metrics and assist with performance reporting. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, operational, and Human Resources teams on organizational and recruitment communications. Education and Experience Required: Associate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, community development, or a related field, or a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Experience in marketing, communications, social media, community outreach, public relations, or a related area. Experience using social media and basic marketing or content creation tools. Strong writing, editing, graphic design, organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to create clear, accurate, and engaging public-facing content for diverse audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and work independently. Ability to comply with applicable requirements governing patient information, photographs, testimonials, and public communications. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, community development, or a related field. Three or more years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, community outreach, public relations, or a related area. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, content management systems, and graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Basic photography and video content creation skills. Experience in an FQHC, community health center, nonprofit organization, or setting serving underserved populations. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Comfortable representing MLMC at community events and interacting with the public. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout MLMC's service area. Availability for occasional evening and weekend community events.
