You can design a career you’ll love from top to bottom – we give you the tools you need to succeed and the autonomy to reach your goals.EisnerAmper’s Outsourced Services - Real Estate group has experienced significant growth and is seeking a real estate accounting professional with expertise using Real Estate platforms such as Yardi, AppFolio and Intacct.  This individual will report to the Manager of Real Estate Accounting and will be responsible for servicing real estate clients and managing multi entity portfolios of properties, both commercial and/or residential. What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balanceYou will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awardsWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat Work You Will be Responsible For:Make appropriate journal entries to record mortgage, payroll, utilities, management fees, property insurance and property taxes and other cash transactionsPerform bank reconciliations (operating, security deposit, escrow accounts)Perform monthly financial review, accrual accounting and GL reclassesPerform reconciliations of the balance sheet accountsPerform in-depth review of the income statementPerform actual-to-budget variance analysisPerform, process, and calculate management fees and distributionsPrepare monthly financial statement package for ownership to include balance sheet, profit & loss statement, statement of cash flows (if applicable), and bank reconciliationsPrepare quarterly financial reporting to fulfill lender compliance requirementsAct as liaison to external auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions, provide research data and information as requested, and answer questions necessary to complete the audit in a timely manner.Submit wires, ACHs, and internal bank transfersDevelopment and uploading of budgetsMaintain job costing schedules and prepare construction draw packagesMaintain CAM and operation escalation schedulesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field3+ years’ experience in property accounting managing multiple properties and/or entities, 3+ years' of audit experience focusing on real estate clients, or combination of bothPreferred/Desired Qualifications:Experience with Sage Intacct and/or YardiMaster's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fieldExperience working with task management and workpaper system (Blackline, Floqast)Experience working with Appfolio and/or Avid ExchangeEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
