An excellent opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students across multiple campuses near Gig Harbor, WA! This contract position begins November 1st and runs through January 31st, with the possibility of extension during a maternity leave. This is a full-time role, offering 35 hours per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact through itinerant supervision in a diverse school setting.
Ideal candidates bring prior experience supporting school-aged children and a passion for positive behavioral interventions. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, students, and families to promote positive outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor behavior support staff
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to travel between school sites as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide itinerant supervision and support for K-12 students across multiple campuses
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions and plans
- Collaborate with school staff on best practices for supporting students with behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments and collect data to inform decision-making
- Offer guidance and supervision to paraprofessionals and other support staff
