Dental Revenue Cycle Payment Posting

Star Dental Partners (SDP) is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Payment Poster to join our high-growth and fast-paced Dental Service Organization (DSO). This position will interact with insurance companies to follow-up on open claims, process patient insurance refunds and primarily post payments. In this role, the payment poster will interpret insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) statements to post the payments to open patient insurance claims in the practice management software. Additionally, necessary adjustments to claims to ensure the ledger accurately reflects the insurance EOB's will also be required. Payment posting for multiple office locations will be required and insurance credentialing knowledge is a strong preference. Collect and review all required patient insurance information to complete the billing, collections, appeal, and/or cash processes. Assist in performing day end and month end processing. Claims Appeals & Denials Process dental insurance EOBs, appeals, denials, and following up with denial resolutions appropriately. Research and resolve any electronic claim rejections. Process any necessary insurance or patient correspondence. Independently analyze, report, and communicate any reimbursement trends or delays, such as billing denials, claim denials, pricing errors, payments, etc. Perform other duties as required to support the Revenue Cycle department.
