Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Weekends are required (Friday - Sunday).

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, vascular, obstetric, and gynecological examinations. The individual will ensure the accurate capture of images and data while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations and assessments as ordered by the physician.
• Utilize Philips ultrasound systems effectively to generate diagnostic images.
• Document findings accurately and efficiently using Epic charting system.
• Communicate with healthcare staff to coordinate patient care and management.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound procedures and ensure their comfort.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology.
• Required certifications: ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR*, ARDMS OB/GYN, ARRT S.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Preference for candidates with breast ultrasound certification.
