Summary You will serve as a PIPEFITTER LEADER in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility Bangor, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.

- You will pass on instructions received from supervisors and get work started.
- You will work with other workers and set the pace.
- You will ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
- You will maintain a current knowledge and answer questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives.

- This position may require exposure to high noise levels.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may be subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This may be a Drug Testing position. If so, successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
