Senior Hardware Validation Engineer

The Senior Hardware Validation Engineer at Aurora is responsible for leading the electrical validation of printed circuit board assemblies and system-level testing to ensure product reliability and safety, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop validation strategies and resolve field issues. Key Responsibilities Serve as the hands-on technical lead for PCBA design validation, module, and system-level validation. Drive sustaining engineering efforts, including root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues. Develop hardware validation strategies and test plans to ensure product quality and design compliance. Execute electrical system-level validation to identify and resolve design issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware Systems, Safety, Test, and Electrical Engineering. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in PCBA electrical validation. Expertise in PCBA electrical validation, including both module and system-level validation across power regulation, low-speed and high-speed interfaces, compute, memory, and sensors. Demonstrated experience with board bring-up, fault injection testing, and system level validation. Proven experience in technical leadership roles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
