Practice Manager - Specialty Office - Ear Nose and Throat

Job Summary The Practice Manager II anticipates, plans, organizes and directs the operations of one or more physician practices, supporting six or more providers and managing a minimum of ten employee FTEs to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided to patients. The Practice Manager II is also responsible for achieving the annual operational and financial goals of the practice and for overseeing practice leads and employees to ensure efficient operations and workflows for patients, providers, and staff through standardized processes and best practices. Essential Functions Serves as a role model setting standards of behavior, professionalism, and outstanding customer service in all relationships with internal and external customers. Manages day‑to‑day operations of the practice, including staff and provider schedules, performance management, and timely communication with team members. Facilitates troubleshooting and follow‑up to ensure effective provider, staff, customer and peer relationships. Adheres to the established controls of quality, compliance and risk standards for daily operations, including supply‑chain activities, inventory, budgeting, and invoice processing. Acts as liaison for new provider integration activities, assisting during onboarding of new physicians and APCPs. Manages all revenue‑cycle processes, such as registration workflows, work queues, copays, cash drawer, bank deposits, and coding compliance. Reviews practice data, identifies variances, and analyzes financial and billing reports to assist with decision‑making and reporting; participates in planning, budgeting and analysis. Meets with Practice Administrator and medical group/market leadership to review trends and adjust strategic priorities. Coordinates support functions to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies. Handles personnel functions in collaboration with HR, including check‑ins and evaluations.
