Step into a rewarding opportunity as a dedicated General Education ELA Teacher supporting students in the vibrant Thibodaux region. This contract role offers you the chance to empower young learners and make a lasting difference throughout the school year. As an onsite educator, you’ll inspire students with engaging English Language Arts instruction and serve as a collaborative member of a school community that values educational growth.

Your background and expertise will help shape the learning environment for students from various backgrounds. If you bring passion for literacy and have the required credentials, you are encouraged to consider this long-term, onsite assignment.

What We’re Looking For:

Active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with all necessary ELA endorsements
Previous classroom experience as a General Education or English Language Arts teacher is a plus
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Eager to collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and parents
Ready and able to work fully onsite, supporting students face-to-face
Availability for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), with commitment through May 2027

Role Highlights:

Deliver comprehensive ELA instruction to students following established curriculum
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that motivate and challenge learners
Assess student progress; provide feedback and adapt strategies for academic success
Maintain records and documentation as required
Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture
