Our core values guide how we serve our residents, employees, clients, and properties.Our Core ValuesService: Facilitating actions for the betterment of others.Balance: Achieving a healthy balance in life through wellness and relationships.Teamwork: Working together to help each other reach our fullest potential.Pride: Maintaining an honest, ethical, and integrity-based workforce.What You'll DoRespond to resident service requests and complete work orders accurately and on time.Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance.Complete plumbing repairs, including repairing leaks and removing clogs.Perform minor electrical repairs and replace light fixtures and related components.Repair appliances, locks, cabinets, walls, flooring, and other apartment features.Complete painting, touch-ups, and other apartment make-ready duties.Inspect vacant apartments and help ensure they are ready for move-in.Maintain pools, equipment, common areas, grounds, maintenance rooms, and other property facilities.Complete preventive maintenance projects and maintain accurate service records.Report major repairs, safety hazards, and contractor needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.Maintain an appropriate inventory of tools, parts, chemicals, and supplies.Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED.One to three years of facility, commercial, or multifamily maintenance and mechanical repair experience.Working knowledge of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, lighting, painting, flooring, and apartment repairs.Ability to safely operate standard and specialized maintenance tools.Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.Professional customer service and communication skills.Basic computer and mobile technology skills.EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.Certified Pool Operator and CAMT certifications preferred.Technical school, associate degree, or relevant military training is a plus.Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.BenefitsEligible full-time employees may elect or participate in:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurancePaid time off, holiday pay, and a birthday paid day offEmployee Assistance ProgramApartment discountEmployee referral bonus program401(k) plan with company matchTraining and career-development opportunitiesBenefits are subject to eligibility, enrollment requirements, applicable plan terms, and company policies.Join the Lynd TeamIf you are ready to put your maintenance skills to work and help provide residents with a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained home, we invite you to apply.The complete job description, including all duties, responsibilities, schedule expectations, essential functions, and physical requirements, is attached to this posting.Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
