Full Time Registered Nurse (RN)Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) l Afternoon/PM shift or Overnight Shift l With an every other weekend rotation l PRN/Casual Openings as wellThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring that the health and safety needs of all patients are met. This position is responsible for ensuring the facility complies with current regulations and standards of practice.Ecumen Lakeshore-The Fountains provides short-term rehab and post-hospital care for up to 60 patients in spacious, private rooms along the picturesque shore of Lake Superior. Nurses in the Fountains acquire a comprehensive skill set to include IV insertion and medication administration, lab draws, code response, complex wound care, advanced respiratory care and restorative nursing care in collaboration with the therapy team to support each patient's journey to health.The targeted pay range for this job is $ 37.76 - $47.95 per hour.Additional $2/hour Shift differential for the overnight shiftEcumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.Ecumen offers a benefits package based on the number of hours you are regularly scheduled to work including paid time off for Sick & Safe time, an Employee Assistance Program, other well-being resources. Learn more at Job Responsibilities:Completes initial assessment of potential patients. Implements service agreements with all patients upon move-in.Monitors and maintains each patient's medical record, ensures appropriate assessments are completed timely and documentation is appropriate, and confirms patients have current care plans in place.Ensures all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours.Maintains and monitors medication administration program. Supervises medication practices and medical equipment being used in the building. Follows up with physicians regarding medications and/or medical conditions.Assists supervisor in providing health and medication training to all new team members as well as continued education for all staff and documents such training to assure compliance with state, federal and local regulations.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Required Qualifications:Associate's Degree in NursingMust be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensureAbility to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formatsAbility to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Patient's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulationsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in NursingPrevious experience working with seniorsLicenses & Certifications:Required:Registered NurseEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
