What You'll DoAs a Medical Writer at Bethesda Family Dentistry, you'll play a vital role in creating content that informs and educates our patients and community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing clear, accurate, and engaging written materials, including patient education content, newsletters, and website updates.
- Collaborating with our dental professionals to ensure all content is medically accurate and aligned with our practice's standards.
- Researching and synthesizing medical and dental information to create content that is accessible to a non-specialist audience.
- Proofreading and editing materials to maintain a professional tone and style.
- Assisting with other communication needs as required to support our practice.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical writing or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, patient-friendly language.
- A solid understanding of medical and dental terminology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with a team of healthcare professionals.
