Details\n \n Med Surg unit setting within a hospital \n Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) \n May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications \n May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift \n Uses Epic charting system \n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required, no pending license accepted \n BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start \n ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification may be required depending on unit or service needs \n ASN required, BSN preferred \n Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg specialty required \n DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards \n Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care \n Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment for patients \n Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines \n Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed \n Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system \n Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-755266.
