Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed to meet facility demands
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in high-acuity inpatient settings
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Adhere to facility charting standards using Epic electronic health record system
• Comply with emergency response protocols, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications — all must be in hand at time of start
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Recent critical care experience required
• Must be willing and able to float to all hospital departments, including labor and delivery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, multi-department hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
