Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer (Systems Engineer)

Position Summary Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer (Systems Engineer) (Level 3) to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City, OK. Provides Mission Systems Engineering integration leadership for the CERP Avionics Subsystem, coordinating development of plans, procedures, and subsystem level testing. Responsibilities Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system architecture, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, security, product assurance and other quality factors. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross‑functional technical issues. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of engineering experience. 1+ year of airworthiness certification experience. 1+ year of requirements verification experience. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills. Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in engineering project planning or project management. 2+ years leading a team or project. Broad experience in system design, development, integration, and test/verification. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience with DOORS and lab instrumentation. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $104,550 - $141,450.
