Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper Location: Ventura, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $25.00/hour DOE Job Summary Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have strong QuickBooks and full-cycle accounting experience. Key Responsibilities Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks. Prepare and organize weekly bill payment lists. Process check runs as needed. Reconcile vendor statements. Prepare and email customer invoices upon job completion. Record customer payments in QuickBooks. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due invoices. Provide periodic AR aging updates to management. Reconcile business and personal bank accounts. Reconcile credit card accounts. Prepare journal entries as needed. Prepare Profit & Loss Statements and detailed financial reports. Prepare AR Aging Summary and Detail reports. Assist with quarterly sales tax preparation. Assist with year-end reporting and tax preparation. Support corporate filings and required financial documentation. Requirements Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience, or DOE. Strong QuickBooks knowledge and experience. Proficiency with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and organization. Ability to handle confidential financial information. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Reliable transportation. Stable and consistent work history preferred. Work Details Full-Time position in Ventura, CA. Professional office environment. Independent role with minimal supervision. Experience supporting small business financial operations preferred.
