Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time school-based outpatient opportunity in beautiful Floyd, Virginia. POSITION OVERVIEW
This is an independent outpatient practice with Medical Director oversight where you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries while performing minor office procedures including suturing. The successful candidate enjoys practicing autonomously, values community-based medicine, and is passionate about caring for pediatric and adolescent patients. :contentReference[oaicite:1]index=1

Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient acute medical care for students and school staff
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common illnesses and injuries
• Perform minor office procedures including suturing
• Practice independently with Medical Director oversight
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with school personnel and healthcare providers
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

COMPENSATION
• $52-$66 per hour based on experience

SCHEDULE
• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• No evenings
• No weekends
• No call responsibilities

• Certified Physician Assistant REQUIRED
• Active Virginia Physician Assistant License REQUIRED
• Active DEA Registration REQUIRED
• Ability to Practice Independently REQUIRED
• Experience Treating Pediatric and Adolescent Patients REQUIRED
• Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing REQUIRED
• Strong Clinical Assessment Skills REQUIRED
• Excellent Communication Skills REQUIRED
• Community-Based Care Experience Preferred
• School-Based or Primary Care Experience Preferred
