Travel RN Job Details Location: Cleveland, Ohio Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: November 13, 2026 End Date: February 12, 2027 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480 Hours: 36 hours per week Shifts per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Shift Schedule: Day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; night shifts, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Schedule Note: Travelers should be prepared for rotating day and night assignments and may be asked to work variable shifts based on operational needs. Holiday Coverage: Work at least every other holiday during the assignment. Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission; a permanent Ohio license or compact-state license is required. At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing. Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment completed within the past 12 months. Successful completion of ECG rhythm-recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation, with an acceptable score required. Required licenses and certifications must be active and available at the time of submission; pending credentials are not accepted. Ability to complete required compliance documentation, background screening, and pre-start learning modules. Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients throughout the shift. Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer medications safely and accurately while following established clinical protocols. Perform patient assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, ancillary professionals, patients, and families to coordinate effective patient care. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record. Maintain patient safety, infection-prevention, and quality-of-care standards.
