In this role, you will manage projects from planning through construction, working closely with clients, regulators, and internal teams to deliver practical, reliable solutions.You will take ownership of project performance, guide teams, and maintain strong client relationships. This role is well suited for someone who values clear communication, steady leadership, and delivering work that clients can depend on.What You Will Be Responsible ForLead and support infrastructure projects from planning through construction, managing scope, schedule, budget, and overall qualityWork closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and project partners while building and maintaining strong relationshipsProvide guidance and mentorship to staff and support quality control, helping solve problems as they ariseHelp develop proposals, scopes, and project plans, and stay involved throughout to keep work moving forwardQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and ten or more years of experience including leading project teamsProfessional Engineer license in the state of employmentStrong understanding of civil and environmental engineering principlesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a steady, organized wayClear communication skills and the ability to work well with clients, agencies, and team membersExperience with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and public infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with Bluebeam or similar software is a plus.What You Can ExpectCompetitive compensation with performance based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision coverage, and 401(k) with company contributionPaid time off, flexible work options, and support for professional developmentOpportunities to take on expanded responsibility and leadershipHow We WorkAt Underwood Engineers, our work is grounded in trust, service, and long-standing relationships.
