PositionPurpose: ThepurposeoftheRecyclingFacilityCashieristoassisttheDirectorofOperations,managingdaytodayclericaltaskswhileprioritizingcustomers. Responsibilities: Assistcustomerscomingtotheyardensuringcorrectpaymentverificationforeachclientincludingcash,creditcard,checkandaccountbalances. Accuratelymeasureincomingandoutgoingloadsforcorrectcubicyardagequantitiesforbilling. Assistwithallclericalandadministrativetasksasneededincludingansweringphones,filing,copyingandtranscriptionofletters. Processincomingandoutgoingmaterialpaperwork. Preparedailyproductionreports. CompiledataforNJDEPcompliance. Dailytimecardentryforallemployees. Prepare,signandsendproposalstoclientsandcustomers. Knowledge&Skills Strongorganizationalandtimemanagementskillsareneededtocompleteahighvolumeofvariedresponsibilitieswithexcellentattentiontodetail. Familiarwithtrucksizingandcubicyardvolumemeasurements. ProficientinallMicrosoftOfficeapplicationsincludingOutlook,Word,andExcel. Abilitytoproducewellthoughtoutandprofessionalcorrespondence. Excellentrelationshipbuilder;abletodemonstrateahighleveloftact,discretionanddiplomacywithallinternalandexternalcustomers. Abilitytoadheretopolicies,guidelinesandrulessetforth;promotesthecompanysafetypolicy.
