Medical Assistant– Women's Health

Location: Arlington, TX

Pay Range: $20 – $22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Addison Group is hiring for our client, an established women's health practice in Arlington, TX, seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join its clinical team.

This position is a great opportunity for an MA who enjoys balancing hands-on patient support with front-office responsibilities and wants to gain additional experience within women's health.

Job Description

The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and clinical staff to support daily patient care and maintain an efficient clinic workflow. This position includes a combination of patient rooming, vital signs, chart preparation, phone support, and appointment coordination .

The ideal candidate is adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable communicating with patients when schedules or provider availability change.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs
• Review and prepare patient charts prior to appointments
• Maintain accurate patient information and clinical documentation
• Answer incoming patient phone calls
• Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed
• Communicate schedule changes professionally and compassionately to patients
• Coordinate with providers and staff to maintain efficient patient flow
• Assist with additional clinical and administrative responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Medical Assistant experience required; 2–3 years preferred
• Previous experience working in a medical office or outpatient clinic
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced physician practice
• Strong reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn
